Check with your facility's treatment protocols for specific treatment guidelines. Typically the HemoBandâ„¢ is left in place for five to ten minutes, the typical time used for holding the needle site. It may be left on for an additional five to ten minutes if needed. The arm and hand must be checked to assure normal perfusion distal to the HemoBandâ„¢. You should also check and make sure that the graft is patent by documentation of a bruit in the graft.

i. HB-1M: Sterile: 12 units/bag: Note that there is one sterile HemoBand in each sterile pack. ii. HB-NS: Non-sterile: 24 units/bag and 360/case iii. HB-NSXL: Non-sterile (extra long): 24 units/bag and 360/case
